Celebrating 35 Years
Thirty-five years ago, the word "metamodel" was considered cutting-edge and novel. We appreciated the power of metamodeling so much that we built it into our product name: MetaEdit stands for Metamodeling Editor. Our first release enabled users to define their own domain-specific languages with metamodels—one language and one modeler at a time.
Fast forward to today: MetaEdit+ supports integrated multi-language environments where multiple engineers can collaborate on the same models and metamodels simultaneously, whether running locally or in the cloud. What's more, modeling work continues uninterrupted even as language engineers modify the metamodel in real time.
Over these 35 years, thousands of domain-specific modeling languages and generators have been created with MetaEdit+, establishing it as a market leader in the field.
The entire MetaCase team wants to thank our customers for their loyalty and support throughout this journey. Your trust and partnership drive everything we do.
