Here are the ports used by MetaEdit+, as in the IANA port assignments list (the 6390 port is not on the server, but rather on MetaEdit+ clients that open their API server):

metaedit-mu 6360 MetaEdit+ Multi-User (on server, for repository data)

metaedit-se 6370 MetaEdit+ Server Administration (on server, for startup etc.)

metaedit-ws 6390 MetaEdit+ WebService API (on client, for SOAP commands)

The first three numbers match the first three capital letters in the description, using the normal telephone keypad mapping (MEM=636, MES=637, MEW=639). Although only these ports are reserved, the next 7 TCP ports after them are also currently free (e.g. 6390–6398). If a larger range is required, 42600–699, 42700–799 and 42900–999 are currently free.
