I am currently working on a project that involves developing complex distributed applications, and I am interested in incorporating the MESSAGE methodology into my work. However, I am unsure about the steps required to import MESSAGE into the MetaEdit+ environment.
The MESSAGE methodology is an agent-oriented software engineering (AOSE) approach specifically designed for complex distributed systems. It emphasizes the use of autonomous agents as central entities in the system. For further understanding, I recommend referring to the following papers:

To use modeling languages
and generators build by others you either need MetaEdit+ repository or a file
containing the metamodel definition that you can import to your MetaEdit+ repository. If you obtained a copy of the repository, just place it in the same directory where ’demo’ repository locates and it will then appear in the list of repositories for login. If you have metamodel file(s), see guidance at User's Guide section 5.3 on importing them to your existing MetaEdit+ repository. As the metamodel file(s) can be version specific see also Forum answer on importing from different versions. To obtain Message methodology implemented in MetaEdit+ please contact the authors having created it. Edited by jpt - 31.Jan.2024 at 09:29 |
