Standard reports
MetaEdit+ comes with a set of standard reports which can be used to document and check the design results independently of the modeling language in use. These reports are:
- Object List to describe all the objects in a graph.
- Object Nesting to specify the objects that are drawn inner the boundaries of another object
- Property List to describe all the properties of the objects.
- Dictionary to print out all the objects with related definitions and documentation.
- Metrics to calculate the size of the models within the hierarchy
- Object connections to show how objects are related to each other.
- Checkings to list the objects that have no relationships to other objects (orphans) and the properties of objects that have not been filled.
- XML to describe all objects and their properties in XML format.
- Graph Documentation in HTML to document a graph into an HTML file with pictures in PNG format.
- Graph Documentation in Word to document a graph into an RTF file which is saved into a Word document.
- Graph hierarchy to HTML reports a graph and its subgraphs into an HTML file with pictures in PNG format.
- Graph hierarchy to Word reports a graph and its subgraphs into an RTF file which is saved into a Word document.
