	Thanks . I'd rather we didn't have one at all, of course, but sadly there were enough cases before that it was pretty much unavoidable. If we're going to have one, it ought at least to be one that a) leaves the user in control, without relying on MetaCase staff, b) doesn't require a physical dongle, and c) doesn't stop MetaEdit+ from working when there's no network. Thinking through all the possible situations from the point of view of us, the license manager and the user was the hardest part. Systems involving humans are always non-trivial! The actual implementation was relatively easy (probably because we've gone for function rather than form: it works, but it's hardly going to win a prize for avant garde design...). I'd be happy to hear others' comments, even if they're not as positive as Jeroen's .
