As a new user I'm running into some minor problems with usability. Nothing major but enough for them to be annoying. May I suggest you consider these in a future update:
- Windows User aren't used to the ctrl-c / ctrl-v commands from the Unix world. Perhaps you should also react to ctr-ins and shift-ins as well as ctrl-backspace for undo - When editing generators with subgenerators, I often instictively click on another generator name in the list to switch over there, being used to having an editor with multiple windows and thus being able to switch between buffers. The generator editor however closes the current buffer and opens the other. When it does this, it opens a popup window asking whether I want to save/discard /cancel and the popup is placed in such a way that the doubleclick, which I often do without thinking, activates the "discard" button. This way I loose all my unsaved work. It would be better to place the popup slightly off the mouse so that a doubleclick will merely cause a beep because the modal window is missed. Again, this is not a major thing, but it has cost me quite some nerves already. Thanks |

Thank you for the feedback.
MetaEdit+ uses Ctrl-c / Ctrl-v etc. as they are recommended shortcuts for Windows. See details at: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/20-pc-shortcuts.
If you are used to have several editors open, like different generator editors for different languages, choosing Generator | Open in New Window can be useful.
