Hi,
I want to generate a documentation (HTML and PDF) for my project. Is it possible to edit the existing generators? (e.g. the 'export graph to word' generator) Cheers Chris |

Hi,
Yes, those generic existing generator scripts are stored in the Graph (from where all MetaEdit+ languages & models can access those). You may edit these generators by opening the 'Generator Editor | Generator | Change Graph Type and then select Graph' -Janne |

If you want to keep the current generators (defined in Graph level) and have dedicated documentation generation features for your graph type, you may also override Graph level generators in your language (Graph type).
For example, if you want to change how the model hierarchy is shown in HTML pages you may just add your own ‘_Links in HTML’ generator. When running the generator for your language that generator module is used instead of the one defined in Graph level (in supertype). Edited by jpt - 04.Jun.2010 at 15:11 |
