Hello,
I was trying to create EAST-ADL Timing Model with MetaEdit+ 5.5 in particular a "PrecedenceConstraint", but i couldn't find a way to configure this. The EAST-ADL-Repository is already installed. Is it currently possible to create a "PrecedenceConstraint" in MetaEdit+? Timing-Specification: EAST_ADL-Precedence-Contraint Thank you for your help. Best regards.

Hi Chris,
Without a precedence constraint, functions are executed based on their data dependencies. In EAST-ADL, precedence constraint allows to set a preceding function and a number of successive functions. Precedence constraints are defined in Timing Model by selecting it from the toolbar and entering its details as illustrated below (as in EAST-ADL, 15th Edition, January 2017). ![]() When a precedence constraint is defined, MetaEdit+ ensures the EAST-ADL rules so that one preceding function is selected from the function architecture as well as at least one successive function. Also short name is mandatory and others are optional, like Mode. The same language checks are done for other constraints and events of Timing model too. |

Hello Jpt,
thank you for your answer. The problem is, I can not select the "PrecedenceConstraint" from the toolbar, because there is no icon. ![]() Is there a new version of the repository? The currently installed version is EAST-ADL_M.2.1.12. METAEDIT20140225 Thank you for your help. Best regards |
