MetaCase to Sponsor WoMM ’06

MetaCase is proud to sponsor the Workshop on Meta-modelling and Ontologies (WoMM ’06), which will be held in Karlsruhe, Germany on October 12-13, 2006.

Both, enterprise modelling and software engineering require the use of modelling languages. Although well supported by a multitude of available tools, general-purpose modelling languages, such as the UML, often fail to satisfy specific modelling needs. Instead, developers need special-purpose modeling languages and the tools to support them. Metamodelling tools, such as MetaEdit+ provide an effective solution for defining and working with these special-purpose modeling languages.

The workshop provides a forum for professionals involved in meta-modelling, including language users, language designers and tool developers — both from industry and academia.
