AUTOSAR as modeling language
| The importance of software in a car is
becoming more important in defining the vehicle than the mechanical parts.
All companies involved in the development process must be able to manage
the increasing IT-requirements: reliability, cost-efficiency and limited
computing resources on one side and a continuous integration of the
vehicles functionality on the other. In his speech on the 8th Software in Automobil conference, titled "Autosar as a modeling language", MetaCase CEO Juha-Pekka Tolvanen will describe how AUTOSAR metamodel can be implemented into a modeling language and how such native support will differ from UML profiles. Also the use of code generators on top of AUTOSAR architecture will be demonstrated in sample domain. Topics include:
