MetaCase to co-organize the 5th OOPSLA workshop on DSM
MetaCase is the co-organizer of the 5th OOPSLA workshop on DSM taking place on October 17, 2005 in San Diego, California. This year's workshop goals are to collect and exchange experiences related to building and using DSMs; continue building and extending the DSM community; and address the issues raised at previous DSM workshops which triggered the interest to publish a special journal issue. Some of the main topics to be addressed at the event are: industry and academic experience reports, creation of metamodel-based languages, novel approaches to code generation using DSM, issues of support/maintenance for systems built with DSMs, evolution of languages in accordance with domain, metamodeling frameworks and languages as well as tools for DSM. OOPSLA has been an incubator and promoter of many state-of-the-art technologies and practices, such as agile methods, aspect-oriented programming, and domain-specific modeling. |
