Continued Attention for Model-Driven Development

Model-driven development (MDD) continues to be a high interest topic as indicated by IDC's recent study. Publication author, Stephen D. Hendrick, scrutinizes the performance of the world's top ten vendors in the market, including MetaCase, and discusses the company's characteristics for success now and in the future. In addition, the 29 page study exposes the "significant value MDD brings for large organizations with complex application development needs" and its "ability to address the rapid evolution to platform-based application development and deployment", reports Hendrick. Furthermore, the author concludes that the momentum gained in recent years for MDD is expected to continue to increase steadily over the next five-year forecast period.
