Leading product-family developers team up with MetaCase

MetaCase has been invited to contribute to the ESAPS consortium as the sole tool provider of family-specific modeling languages and variant generation tools. The ESAPS consortium includes leading product-family developers, such companies as Alcatel, Bosch, Ericsson, Nokia, Philips, Siemens and Thales. 

ESAPS aims to provide an enhanced product-family approach to enable a major paradigm shift from developing single products to developing products within a family. Domain-specific, or better, family-specific languages and related variant generators form the cornerstone of this paradigm shift. They allow companies to develop products 10 times faster (see e.g. Nokia experiences).
