MetaCase - sole tool provider for leading product family consortium

MetaCase has joined forces with the leading names in the industry, such as Philips, Thales, Siemens, Nokia, Bosch, among others, to participate in the CAFE project, dedicated to product family engineering. 

The CAFÉ consortium is structured around a number of several leading European manufactures of software-intensive product families. MetaCase is the sole tool vendor/consultant present in the CAFÉ consortium, due to its extensive expertise in the field of domain-specific modeling. MetaCase provides domain-specific, or better, family-specific languages and related variant generators with MetaEdit+ metaCASE tool. Domain-specific modeling enables companies to develop products 10 times faster (see e.g. Nokia experiences).

The results of the CAFÉ project, encompassing the structure of the assets and the knowledge about methods and procedures, will be used for tools and concrete applications.
