Supported platforms
MetaEdit+ is designed to be platform independent and thus follows the principles of open systems to work on all major platforms. Full platform independence is supported for both the environment and the data. Currently MetaEdit+ clients and servers are available on the following platforms:

The installed program requires around 30Mb of hard disk space. |
* MetaEdit+ also runs on Windows 95 and NT4 but Microsoft is stopping support for these.
