Browsers

MetaEdit+ offers several browsers for viewing and editing the repository contents. The Type Browser can be used both for working with modeling languages and for working with graphs and their elements. The Graph Browser provides you a hierarchy-based view of your graphs: you can choose between decomposition or explosion-based hierarchies, and access design elements of each graph. The Metamodel Browser shows modeling techniques and the language components they contain.

Using the browsers you can:

• Create and manage projects
• View design or language information (metamodel) from different projects
• Browse graphs and design information based on language's types
• Browse graphs and design information with filters
• Open graphs in Editors
• Inspect and navigate between graphs and design elements with the Info Tool
• Run and create reports for checking, documenting, and generating code
• Access property dialogs for all design information
